The San Francisco 49ers signed cornerback Jamar Taylor to a one-year contract and waived injured cornerback Teez Tabor, the team announced Monday.

Taylor, a Boise State alum, was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2013 draft and played there until 2015.

He has played for five other teams in the past four seasons, including the Falcons and Seahawks last season. Taylor has appeared in 90 games and started in 41 of those. He has 236 tackles, three interceptions and two forced fumbles in his seven pro seasons.
