A decades-old heat will erupt again at Taco Bell this summer with the return of the fan-favorite Volcano Menu.

The Tex-Mex fast food chain announced the reintroduction of specialty menu items such as the Volcano Burrito, Volcano Taco and the spicy addition of Lava Sauce — a blend of cheese, sour cream and fiery jalapenos — for any item beginning in late June.

“From petitions, to recreating their own DIY alternatives from home, Taco Bell fans took to social advocating for the return,” the fast-casual brand said in the announcement. “Taco Bell heard and is making this summer hotter than ever.”

The returning menu items will be available beginning June 29.

According to the Louisville, Kentucky-headquartered company, the Volcano Menu was first introduced in 1995 and has since developed a “cult-like following” from avid customers who have “relentlessly championed its return.”

The Volcano Menu discontinued in 2013 after a five-year run that started again in 2008, the Daily Meal reported. But the Lava Sauce stayed a little longer.

First introduced in 2008 as a spicy nacho cheese condiment, the sauce was removed from the menu in 2013 and returned in September 2015.
