Labour is demanding Boris Johnson recalls parliament to debate a possible no-deal Brexit within days, as Jeremy Corbyn prepares to label the prime minister “Britain’s Trump” leading a “hard right” government.
It comes as No 10 reacts with fury to the publication of the “Operation Yellowhammer” dossier setting out the negative impacts of no-deal Brexit, claiming it was “deliberately leaked” by a former minister.
The Home Office, meanwhile, has drawn up plans to end the free movement of EU citizens on day one of a no-deal Brexit, The Independentas been told.
