Prince Harry has made his dream of marrying his love, former actress Meghan Markle, come true, with their with the pair wedding in stylishly regal fashion at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19.

And while the former Suits actress may be in princess lessons ahead of what will be a lifetime of Royal duties, Harry’s Californian queen certainly doesn’t need a royal stylist to give her a Princess Diaries-inspired makeover. No, really – she has serious fashion credentials already.

From red-carpet showstoppers to sophisticated royal engagement ensembles, Meghan, 36, is bound to give Duchess Catherine and Pippa Middleton some friendly competition in the style-stakes.

Here we take a look at the royal-to-be’s finest fashion moments.

Powder pink in Prada! Meghan Markle looks as royal as she does sophisticated in this cinched-at-the-waist, buttoned dress at [the Queen’s Young Leaders Awards](https://www.nowtolove.com.au/royals/british-royal-family/meghan-markle-queen-elizabeth-queens-young-leaders-awards-ceremony-49458|target=”_blank”) reception at Buckingham Palace. While Meghan looks polished-to-Prada-perfection, we are quietly missing Meghan’s ever-so-gently bohemian royal style that she sported pre-wedding. Just saying.

Oh my… Meghan! Structured and formal – and we’re not just talking about Meghan’s post-wedding posture and poise – the Duchess of Sussex sported an angular, capped, ladylike Givenchy dress for her first solo event with the Queen in Cheshire. It seems that Meghan loves buttoned-pink dresses, with the former actress taking to Buckingham Palace’s balcony in this boat-neck frock for the very first time at Trooping The Colour. This custom-made Carolina Herrera dress could only be outshone by her matching modern Philip Treacy hat.

The ensemble selected by her friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney included double-breasted navy coat over a black, high-necked knit tucked into a structured tan skirt. The bag Meghan was carrying, a tote by Strathberry, sold out in 11 minutes flat!

Classic off-duty style. For her first “official” outing with beau Prince Harry, Meghan wore an over-sized white shirt, nipped in at the front with a perfect tuck into a pair of cropped at the ankle jeans. Don’t think we didn’t notice that very un-royal rip at the knee and frayed hems – she’s not a princess yet, so she can do what she wants.

There was no denying that Meghan was having a ball cheering on her boyfriend Prince Harry as he opened his beloved **2017 Invictus Games** at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The glossy brunette stunned in a mulberry pleated dress and matching leather jacket by the brand **Mackage**. We have a feeling berry-hued leather jackets are about to become *very* popular.
